Today Maggie & I went to the park to feed the ducks and go on a nature walk. It was a beautiful day (75 degrees)! The ducks were not hungry. I'm not surprised though, the weather has been so nice that I'm sure a lot of people had already been by to feed them. We had a blast on our walk. I let Maggie decide where we would go on our walk. And we ended up walking for a LONG time. We climbed a couple of hills, walked down a little dirt road and along the stream. We saw ladybugs, birds, squirrels, turtles (I saw 3 of them but they jumped in the water before I could show them to Maggie)and a frog. We also figured out that a beaver lives there. We found several small trees that he had cut down. Maggie had a blast picking up rocks and sticks and looking for turtles in the stream. She was quite the explorer today!! We were there for 2 and a half hours....she just didn't want to leave! To cool down we stopped for an Icy Drink on our way home. Then we had a picnic in Maggie's tent in the backyard.
